Thank You Camas Washougal Community Chest Grant

We are very grateful to the Camas Washougal Community Chest for granting us funding this year to construct a gazebo at Good Shepherd Manor for our residents to enjoy.

While we have lovely parklike grounds, we wanted our residents to be able to enjoy them more of the year, heat. rain, or snow. This also provides a covered meeting area for evacuation drills or emergencies and for family and friends to meet when visiting their loved ones. Our residents love it!

Thanks also go to our wonderful contractor Douglas Lee of Action Craftworks, LLC, and our volunteers, especially John Daly and his team from Handyman & Landscaping Services who stepped up to help us raise the roof. All this during extreme heat.

We also thank the George & Lymona Lee Castleberry Trust for generously contributing to the project.

We held a picnic and opening for the gazebo on July 4, 2025.
